A director and director of photography whose work is shaped by a considered, image-led approach to storytelling — deliberate movement, composition and duration, allowing scenes to breathe rather than forcing impact.
Paul's practice sits between narrative, fashion, documentary and commercial film, with a focus on atmosphere, pacing and emotional restraint.
Working internationally, he has shot across Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia — from television series filmed in the Maldives and Malaysia to long-form documentary projects across the African continent — bringing the same cinematic discipline to fashion film, documentary and broadcast.
He was Director of Photography on Model, a ten-part series streaming on Netflix, which he also co-wrote and produced.
